Double-sided puzzle of paper over wood pieces; Clemens' Map of Ohio, published by Rev. E.J. Clemens of Clayville, New York. Puzzle pieces follow the county outlines. Roads, railroads, and canals are shown. Date of the map circa 1880, if present is obscured by the border trim. 12 1/2 inches by 15 1/2 inches.

Reverse side of puzzle is an ad for Sherwin Williams paints, featuring a house, with circular insets of a train coach, a carriage, a home interior with wall stencil decorations, and a girl in Victorian dress. All pieces are present and in good condition. #200804 $650
 

Cram, Geo. F. Jigsaw Puzzle Map of Ohio With White Sewing Machine Advertising

Cram's 1879 Railroad and Township Map of Ohio on a double-sided jigsaw puzzle of color printed paper over wood pieces. Pieces  follow county boundaries. Reverse side of puzzle is an ad for White Sewing Machines showing two scenes, one with gentleman's arm on shoulder of lady at her machine, the other with the gentleman carrying the machine nonchalantly on his shoulder with lady on his arm. "Agents Wanted". 

Three pieces missing and replaced with plain wood. These are Erie, Pike, and Athens counties. Also most of the paper missing on Jefferson county on the map side of the piece. Mounted in a chestnut wood frame with double-sided glass. Rare. $295
